GUIDE FOR VIETNAM VISA APPLICATION
Before you start filling in the form take a photo of your passport page and a passport photo of yourself.
1. PHOTO
It is VERY IMPORTANT to take the correct photo.
Your visa application will be rejected if below instructions are not followed.
1. In color
2. Taken within 6 months
3. Have resolution sufficient for printing
4. Feature white or very light background
5. Capture your entire face and shoulders (should NOT include any portion of torso below shoulders)
6. NO GLASSES
7. NO SMILING
8. Format jpeg or png or bmp.
9.Helpful tip, have a light source that is eye level and straight in front of you, so there are no shadows.

2. PHOTO OF PASSPORT
Your passport must clearly show all the details on your personal identity page.
ie Your name, dates and all numbers and figures, including the ICAO codes
(the two lines at the bottom off the page)
Make sure that your hand does not accidentally cover any numbers of letters.
(I used some clear tape on each corner to keep my passport flat.)
